Contribution rules:

Under state law, the maximum an individual may contribute to a campaign committee is $650.00 per judicial candidate per election cycle. An organization that is not a corporation may contribute up to $4,100.00 per judicial candidate. Friends of Chris Lipps reminds all of the following rules:

1. This is not a contribution from a person who does business with the court for which this judicial candidate is running in the form of a contractual or other arrangement in which the person, in the current year or any of the previous six calendar years, received as payment for goods or services aggregate funds or fees regardless of the souce in excess of $250.00

2, This is not a contribution from an employee of the court for which this judicial candidate is running or, if applicable, the court on which this judicial candidate currently serves.

3.This contribution is made from my own funds, and funds are not being provided to me by another person or entity for the purpose of making this contribution.

 

Any contribution received by the committee that does not comply with state laws will be returned.
